Philip M. Cohen is a musician, songwriter, and author with over 40 years of experience. With his band "The Heaters," he shared the stage with such legends as "Talking Heads," "Cheap Trick," and "Van Halen,” and with his band ‘Mr. Lucky, he performed alongside “Los Lobos” and “The Blasters.”
As an author, he has written the "Conflict Series,” genre-crossing L.A. noir/music mysteries with two books available on Amazon, Ingram Sparks, and other retail outlets.
Phil currently performs and records with his bands "Dogs and Bones" and "The Silver Heaters," which is a reimagining of his original band "The Heaters." His music from “Dogs and Bones” was featured in the television series “Sleepy Hollow” and in trailers for the movie “The Heat.” His music from “The Heaters” has been featured in the television show “Welcome to Chippendales.”
